Prose, verse, music, photography
Edward Benner is a writer located in Havre de Grace who creates free verse poetry and occasional flash fiction. Currently, he is experimenting with drawn verse/image works and song lyrics, as well as editing his first chapbook (which he is looking to have published soon). He has been published in Caesura Literary Magazine and the Main Street Journal, both based in Newark, DE.
As a student at University of Delaware majoring in Secondary English Education and minoring in Art History and Women and Gender Studies, his academic pursuits inform and inspire his writing as well as his career goals. He has a knack for leaving coffee grinds in the sink, losing track of time in art museums, and dancing in his room to jazz records.
Collaborating is a particular joy of his having worked as the Executive Editor of Main Street Journal and the Music and Society Editor of The Review. Finding local writers to organize and share with who are as inspired by HdG as he is would be a dream come true.
