Robin was born to become an artist.
Discovering her ability to draw at the age of 6, she embraced oil painting in her late teens. Realizing her ability as a gift from GOD, a quote from Leonardo da Vinci describes her experience when creating art,
“Where the Spirit does not work with the hand there is no art.”
With no formal training, Robin’s artwork is created from within. Born and raised in Baltimore County, Robin now resides in Harford County, MD. Her Italian roots run deep, so when not working on one of her favorite subjects, the still life, her main focus is on painting the scenes of Italy which evoke strong memories from her visit to her ancestral country. She also enjoys painting the lovely scenic landscapes of Harford County, painting them ‘en plein aire’ (‘in the open air’).
Robin’s artworks are in the collections of many private owners, and can also be seen in local galleries, art festivals, and art shows, as well as in galleries in Virginia and New York City. Robin has received many awards, honors, and ribbons for her artistic talents.
