Nancy Craig

Painting

Nancy Craig has been painting in Acrylic for over forty years. As her style evolved, so did her use of the medium. Today she paints with a combination of knife and brush on gessoed panels – the effect is decidedly impressionistic. Nan's paintings are in hundreds of private and corporate collections around the country, including: Harford Community College permanent collection, Harford Mutual Insurance Co. and Harford County Economic Development Commission. Nancy's work can be seen at RiverView Gallery in Havre de Grace. From mid 2006 to late 2016 Nan, along with her photographer husband, spent much of her time on Eater Island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, she did a number of paintings of the Island.
Since then she has returned to doing some local pieces.
