Pamela Wilde is a native of Chicago but has resided in Maryland for over twenty years. Pamela received her formal training at the Chicago-based American Academy of Art and graduated with a degree in Advertising Design and Illustration (83).
Pamela recently completed a one-year community portrait project in the town of Havre de Grace, Maryland. Members of the community modeled in live three hour alla-prima sessions and a total of one hundred and nineteen portraits where completed between January 26, 2018 - January 25, 2019.
Pamela currently works from her studio in Harford County and is currently represented by Artists Emporium Gallery 220 N. Washington St. HdG, MD.

Working primarily in oils her subject matter is varied and her passion lies in the many and varied challenges presented by the human figure. Pamela is also an avid plein air painter, participates in several juried events each year, and frequently hosts open studio sessions at Artists Emporium Gallery.
