This body of work is the result of nighttime painting in Havre de Grace (mainly) downtown. In 2021 between June and November, I completed around 45 paintings, venturing into the night 5 to 6 nights per week. Due to familial responsibilities, my main opportunity for painting is after 9:30 at night. This constraint is limiting as light sources around town control my subject matter possibilities. I have been living in Havre de Grace since 2014.
